Review Blitzkrieg: UQ Holder!, Ace Attorney, Grancrest, Overlord II, Card Captor Sakura

Welp, it’s the dawn of a new season and I’m WAY behind on my backlog.  It’s a sickening feeling, so let’s clear the slate and get through all the anime I’ve been watching and meaning to get to in one quick shot.  Ladies and gentlemen, I present unto you… the Anime Review Blitzkrieg.

UQ Holder is already awesome. Also status.

UQ Holder, if you haven’t heard of it by now, is Ken Akamatsu’s newest series, and it’s also a sort of sequel to Negima!

To tell the truth, I’m disappointed that he hasn’t taken the opportunity to tie the Mao-chan-verse into the Negimaverse.  We’ve already established that Mao-chan takes place a few years after Love Hina, and so has Negima! so the only question remaining is if Mao-chan takes place before or after Negima!

Anyway, next Bardass! chapter is going to be done within the next couple of days, I’m sure.  For the first time in a long time, I’m actually looking forward to Millennium Body (making a sensible outline will do that).  Also, there will be a significant PSO2 status dump because I’ve been playing a LOT of it recently.

SacAnime Summer 2013 is coming up this weekend.  I don’t feel like donning the Gendo outfit this year.  I was planning to go as Hananakajima Masaru, but I realized there was no chance I was going to not wear my glasses, and my integrity prevents me from sullying a costume like that.  It sucks to be limited to characters who wear glasses.  So, I’m going as the main character of Zettai Hero Project.  I’d love to do another original commission, but chances are I’ll only have enough money on hand for a single-character portrait.  So if you have a favorite character, I’ll take it into consideration in my decision.  If I had the money, I would actually commission a Millennium Match picture set in Sweet Tears.  The current front runners I’m considering for a commission are Meuri and Marie Antoinette.
