Holy Ambush Update, Batman! Vamoe Guardian Lucia Demo v.906 is here!

Because nothing makes me progress faster than procrastination.

Vamoe Guaridan Lucia Demo v.906

From the readme:

===Known Bugs==
-A couple of the new battle sprites STILL aren’t completely transparent.  Can’t fix yet.
-Sapphire City not completely populated yet; can’t enter buildings in Residential
& Slayer district because they haven’t been worked on yet (if ever).
-Can’t enter Pyrite; no enter / exit designed yet.

==Fixed Bugs / Untested features==
-Holy crap, I fixed the invisible barriers!

===Additions===
-Demo extended up to Sapphire City
-Huge amount of work done to Sapphire City
-Fishing mode implemented; only works in Lapis Village currently.  Visit Len after talking
to his daughter to receive the fishing rod.

Post-demo bonuses / Easter Egg Room:
-Access to unfinished Topaz Temple (& Mountain Pass)
-Access to barely even started Cradle of Insanity
-Access to unfinished Castle Soren (no escape from trap except via Warp Ring)
-Access to unfinished Pyrite Village (planning on making it twice current size)
-Access to unfinished Silveria
-Access to unfinished Silveria Castle
-Tir boss battle beta

Please test it out and report any bugs, typos, balancing issues, etc. to me ASAP.  This is pretty much the limit of how far you can go with the demo, but we’re just scratching the surface of the main game’s story.  Okay, actually it’s somewhere along the lines of 20% through, it’s going to be a fairly short quest.  ANY and ALL comments are welcome no matter where you happen to post them, so please, SPEAK UP.  I have to learn someway.

  1. I totally knew you’d post an update when I was thinking of playing the previous demo version.

    Hopefully will have played through .906 it by this time tomorrow.

  2. You should hold off on that, seems that like I thought, it’s pretty bugged.

    EDIT – nvm, nothing fatal. OK by my standards.

  3. I didn’t read your reply until after I finished anyway, heh.

    I don’t see anything strange with this many bugs this early, either.
