Introduction
Vamoe Hunter Lumen is a 24-episode story I wrote over a year ago on a forum called Hunters of Liberation. The forum was initially hosted at jconserv, but the server went down at around… I wanna say August ’07. Lumen wasn’t salvaged.
The story revolved around Lumen, a half-human, half-succubus raised as a Holy Warrior. Joining him in his adventures is Umbra, a skilled apprentice mage that was formerly cursed by a vampire. They run a Demon Hunter Agency (DHA) out of Sapphire City and take jobs. Although they have a tiny operation, they have one secret weapon that gives them an edge over the competition: Lumen. People affected by a vampire curse do not age until the curse is broken. Because of his unique traits as both a Holy Warrior and a Succubus, he’s the only person in the world that can both break a vampire curse and restore the cursed human to its true age (simply breaking the curse will allow that person to age, but it’s more of an unpause; Lumen can fastforward straight to where that person’s age “should be.”) The kicker is that Lumen can only unleash both these skills when both parties are in a state of ecstasy. To put it bluntly, he needs to have sex with the cursed human to cure them.
And thus we get to the big punchline. This story was basically an excuse for me to write sex scenes w/ lolis. Despite that, it turned out pretty well if I do say so myself.
Characters
Lumen (Kyle S. Menne)
Lumen is the main character of the story. He’s 17 years old and an orphan, but it’s not like that gets him down. His mother was a succubus. Lumen doesn’t remember much about her. Lumen’s father was one of the greatest Holy Warriors ever, the original Lumen, Lucas Menne. When Lumen was just a child, demons attacked their cabin, and his father, already weakened from the battle, sacrificed his life to protect Kyle. Since then, Kyle was raised in Topaz Temple until events 3 years ago forced him to leave.
Umbra (Elise Brahme)
Umbra is a 19-year-old apprentice mage. She was raised by a powerful mage who tried to unlock her enormous potential, but when she turned 14, he was killed by a Vampire Lord, and Elise was cursed by him. She traveled by herself and ended up in Topaz Town, where she studied the Holy Artes and met Lumen. Although her apprenticeship was never completed, her teacher was one of the best elemental mages of all time, and she was taught a wide array of spells. Umbra spends much of her spare time developing her own spells and studying forbidden magics.
Ran
Ran is a manager at Sapphire City, and has the unfortunate task of dealing with Lumen and Umbra. He brings them news about new jobs and rumors and is in charge of their rent.
Father Rougent
Rougent was Lumen’s teacher and an old friend of the original Lumen. He leads the troops at Topaz Temple, though in his old age he’s settled down and taken up drinking.
Sera
Sera is a mysterious 12-year-old girl from Alexandrite Forest. She comes to Lumen for help, claiming that her older brother wants to force her to marry him and her sisters want her dead. But such a ridiculous story can’t be true… can it?
