That’s Phantasy Star Portable, for the PSP. Ha ha, they share the same… …yeah.
So anyway, I downloaded the demo weeks ago and created Eri Sawachika, who looks just like her namesake, and I did everything there is to do in the demo short of grinding for upgrades, gold, and rare items. A couple days ago I decided to delete her and create Natsume, since, well, I missed her.
Today I maxed her out at lv. 20. I literally did not realize you could form a party in Multi Mode using AI characters. <_< The last Free Mission got a lot easier with help (or rather, decoys). By the way, this time I decided not to go with my usual strategy of… well, unloading machine gun ammo, and stuck with mostly using double weapons. Twin daggers, twin swords… Er, that’s about it. I like using the knife / bit combo as well… though that usually devolved into me just relying on bit fire while I strafed at a safe distance. That pretty much spelled defeat for any mob, but I got bored of it and switch back to double knives. I love the skill combo. Juggle of death, bwahaha. I just wish I could find better discs for the weapons I’ve got. I hope there’s a larger variety in the main game.
Really wish I could record gameplay of her in action. All I’ve got is a crappy digicam. And the damn cables I bought don’t display game video on my TV unless I use the component cables. And if I use component cables I can’t record on a VHS because they’r f’n component cables, not A/V. Ugh.
Y’know, I thought there was surprisingly little Natsume on your blog.
I’m sure as hell there’re more in the main game.
I lol’d at thinking about a PS Natsume (and agree with Twin. There seems to be very little Natsume on this hardcore Natsume-fan’s hideout).
Well, I had already done pretty much everything there is to do regarding Natsume before I started this blog, so I didn’t have much of a chance.
But once I have some decent video capture hardware for my PSP, I can guarantee more content.
