You would think I would have something more substantial ready after a holiday weekend, but nope. Next Cream Lemon episode! This is one of my favorite ones, Summer Wind.
We begin the episode at the beach. Our hero, You, bumps into a girl named Mina. They hit it off and have their first kiss in the first three minutes.
Mina says she’ll grab some drinks for him, but she never comes back. It seems she ditched him for some reason, but in the next scene they… kinda have another first meeting? They exchange names and You invites her to a hotel room where they fuck. When You wakes up, she’s gone. Again.
The next day, You drives to the beach to look for Mina… and finds her. They proceed to have some beach fun again, have a rest, and… you get two guesses.
This time, You picks up drinks and it seems Mina ran off again… but it’s a fake out. So… they have more beach fun.
That’s pretty much all this episode is: beach fun and beach fucking.
Anyway, time for serious times.
Mina asks if he You would visit her every year if she died in the ocean. He says he would. And unexpectedly, You opens up and reveals that he had a girlfriend who died, and the day he met Mina was the anniversary of that death.
Sounds like as good a reason as any to start fucking on the beach, amirite?
So, after that, Mina reveals she died. What a shocker.
“You ghosts are all the same.”
As You drives away from the beach, we’re left with a lingering shot of the shop girl that he talked to several times during the episode, and they totally don’t get together. Which… kinda means Mina the Ghost kinda fucked up their shot at an actual tangible relationship. She’s… kind of a selfish bitch, isn’t she?
Overall, the episode seems to aim for substance but ultimately completely lacks it. But the sex animation is pretty nice. It’s bland in a tolerable way and arousing when it needs to be. As Cream Lemon episodes go… it’s pretty much dead center.
